I've watched every show so far, but haven't heard where the meteors/eggs fell from.
Does anyone know where they came from?
I thought Nimrod was precious! He looked like a miniature dragon. I love dragons and unicorns.

I've been watching it, too. I unfortunately missed a couple, so I'm not certain of the answer. Maybe someone knows for sure? So far it's been a very entertaining show. I'm hoping that the quality remains as high as it has been.

Yes, it is entertaining. It's 1 of the 7 tv shows that I watch every week.
I'd like to smack those two upside the head and ask them what they were thinking to go down in that homemade sub! They both have children to think of!
Do you think that was really Nimrod growling in the closet or was it another 'dragon'?
I've been referring to them as dragons for lack of a better name. Have they named the species yet?

This airs in a few days on Australian TV. I was wondering without giving away too much of the show, whether it is worth watching and what genre it is.

Dazzler,
Sorry, if a made a spoiler. I think it is one of the best scifi shows on at the present!
Without giving away too much, if you read "The Dragons of Pern" series, you will probably know what I mean by the Dragons and Threads are one in the same. Which you will see from the very start of the first show, so I'm not giving away something from later in the show.
That's the best description I can think of for this new 'aliens come to Earth' show. I wish I had set my VCR for that first show, it explains a lot. But you won't be lost if you miss an episode, as they do a detailed recap of the previous show each week.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It is definately worth looking at for an episode or two, to decide if you want to add it to your weekly lineup. let me know what you think of it.

So far I'm enjoying the show. The storyline has been developing nicely and it's one of the better of the new series on this season. I really liked both Night Stalker and Threshold, but unfortunately they are both leaving the air.
Surface is worth the time spent watching it, in my opinion.

Yippee! Nim is alive! But what happened to Jackson?
Any bets that Miles will rescue Nim from the lab again?

I'm happy that Nim is alive, too. Unfortunately, I think I heard them say that the show only has four more original shows before the finale? It's going pretty quick. That would put it off of the air around the February sweeps.

I'll be watching it again if they bring it back for a second season (which I hope they do!)
Dazzler this is a well done show and I too think you will really enjoy it!
